Scanature

Help

Answers to the questions we are asked most often.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open Scanature Pro and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you subscribed with. A subscription belongs to that account rather than to a device, so it moves with you to a new iPhone or a fresh installation. If the subscription is already active, the button confirms it and the screen stays as it is.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Apple manages subscriptions, so changes are made in your Apple Account rather than in the app. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can move between the monthly and yearly plans, or cancel. A cancelled subscription stays active until the period you have paid for ends.

What is included in Scanature Pro?

Unlimited documents, every scan filter, text recognition and the full set of PDF tools, with no ads and no watermarks. The first three documents are free and need no subscription, so the app can be judged before anything is paid for.

Where are my documents stored?

On your device only. There is no account and nothing is uploaded, which also means no copy is held anywhere that could be restored for you. Removing the app removes its documents, so anything worth keeping should be shared to Files or iCloud Drive first.

Does Scanature work without an internet connection?

Yes. Scanning, editing, signing, text recognition and exporting all run on the device. A connection is needed only to start or restore a subscription, which Apple handles.

How is my personal data handled?

Scans, signatures and documents remain on your device. The app has no account, no analytics and no server to send anything to, which is why its App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.

Privacy enquiries go to privacy@scanature.com, a separate address from ordinary support.

What am I agreeing to?

The Terms of Use cover what you may do with the app, what you are responsible for, and how subscriptions work. They are in the app as well, so you can read them without a connection.

Still stuck?

Tell us what happened and we will reply. Your device and app version are filled in for you, so there is nothing to look up.
